The result: energy savings, emissions reductions, and peak demand control — with funding to support it.

Choose from two paths:

  1. Simplified Path
    • Pre-approved equipment list
    • Flat-rate grants based on installed units
  2. Custom Path (Sur-mesure)
    • Up to $150,000 per project
    • Up to $250,000 per site
    • Based on either:
      • Predicted energy savings
      • Incremental cost vs. standard system

🧩 Who Qualifies?

  • Commercial or institutional buildings in Québec
  • Existing heating systems using natural gas or oil
  • Projects must include electric equipment (e.g., heat pumps) plus a gas backup
  • Pre-approval required
  • Biomass systems, smart controls, and thermal storage may be eligible
  • Standalone heat pumps (without dual-energy integration) are not eligible
