💰 Financial Assistance

Performance Incentive:

  • $5/m³ of natural gas saved (first year), based on a validated energy model
  • Max: $325,000 per gas account

Design Assistance:

  • Up to $15,000, or 75% of energy modeling and engineering design costs

🧩 Who Qualifies?

  • New buildings or major expansions using natural gas
  • Sectors:
    ✅ Commercial (e.g., retail, office)
    ✅ Institutional (e.g., hospitals, schools)
    ✅ Industrial
    ✅ Multi-residential (4+ units)
  • Must exceed CNÉB 2015 – QC:
    • At least 5% better for commercial/industrial
    • At least 10% better for institutional/public
  • Requires engineer-certified simulation before construction begins
