💰 Financial Assistance

Phase 1 – Feasibility Study:

• Up to 50% of eligible engineering and modeling costs

Phase 2 – Implementation:

• Up to $1 per m³ of natural gas saved in the first year
• Max $325,000 per Énergir gas account
• Must meet ≤1 year ROI to qualify for implementation support

🧩 Who Qualifies?

  • Existing or future Énergir clients in the commercial, institutional, or industrial sectors
  • Measures must result in natural gas savings
  • Studies and implementation must be conducted by Énergir-registered firms
  • Both phases require pre-approval

📝 Program Scope

✅ Phase 1 – Étude:

• Technical and financial evaluation of potential upgrades
• Examples: envelope improvements, system controls, heat recovery, boiler tuning

✅ Phase 2 – Implantation:

• Procurement, installation, and commissioning of the approved measures
• Final grant depends on measured gas savings in Year 1

• High-efficiency condensing boilers
• Heat recovery ventilators (HRVs)
• Pipe insulation
• Building automation and control systems

• Hydro Québec Solutions Efficaces (for electric-side upgrades)
• CMHC MLI Select (for qualifying multi-residential buildings)
• LogisVert or Chauffez Vert (if electric scope is separate and eligible)

🚫 Not Stackable With

• Other subsidies for the same gas-saving measures
• Electrification-only projects (unless pre-approved)
• Repeat studies at the same site within 5 years (unless major changes)
