💰 Financial Assistance

🏢 Envelope Upgrades

• $70/m² for windows and walls (≈ $6.50/ft²), capped at 15% of material + labor cost
• $8/m² for attic roofs, $25/m² for other roofs (≈ $0.74–2.32/ft²), also capped at 15%

💨 Air-Tightness Testing & Sealing

• $8/m² of floor area tested
• Up to 75% of blower door test and sealing costs

📈 Maximum Funding

• $100,000 per gas account, per fiscal year

📉 Minimum Project Size

• Must exceed $500 total

🧩 Who Qualifies?

• Commercial, institutional, industrial, or multi-unit residential buildings (4+ units)
• Connected to Énergir or converting to bi-energy with ≥30% gas usage for heating
• Renovations must improve energy performance and pre-date gas service or qualify under bi-energy rules

📝 Program Scope

Eligible improvements include:

•Window and glazing replacement
• Wall, roof, and attic insulation
• Blower door testing and air-sealing
• Greenhouse thermal curtains

📋 Project Size Tiers

• <2,000 m²: Simplified application using Forms I & II
• >2,000 m²: Requires engineer and proven RSI performance thresholds

📌 Must submit

• Form I (Declaration of intent) pre-renovation
• Form II + invoices + performance documentation post-renovation

📍Énergir may audit projects over $40,000

🧷 Can Be Combined With:

• Hydro Québec Solutions Efficaces – for electric measures (bi-energy scenarios)
• Énergir – Appareils Efficaces – for heating/control equipment
• Municipal and federal programs, provided no cost overlap

🚫 Not Stackable With:

• Previous Énergir envelope funding for the same scope within 5 years
• Fully electric projects unless bi-energy
• Projects lacking required documentation or engineering analysis (when applicable)
